AMY RUSH

MALMSBURY / VIC / ROUND 3

Amy runs and manages her family farm in Malmsbury, Central Victoria. The property is 350 hectares and she is running around 230 Angus breeders, replacement heifers and weaners.

Over the last 18 months, Amy’s operation has changed more than it has in the last 5 years. Not only has Amy increased the farm size by a third but she has also almost doubled breeding numbers.

Amy has also shifted to 100% grass-fed and is now Never Ever accredited through the Greenhams program.

Amy has used Multimin throughout her herd before, particularly in her weaners. Through taking part of the Multimin Performance Ready Challenge she is analysing how Multimin will impact productivity and further improve animal health in her weaners.
