CHRIS THOMSON

STRATHBOGIE / VIC / ROUND 4

Tracey & Chris are the 4th generation farmers at their family farm in Strathbogie, Victoria. Living at the original family house that dates back to 1876, they are hopeful that for years to come the 5th & 6th generation will continue the family legacy.

Strathbogie is traditionally a fine wool growing area, situated at 600m and a tableland area of approximately 5000 hectares.

This farm has maintained sheep at superfine levels, with full replacement flocks. Chris’s focus since taking over from his forefathers has been animal health, soil health and the environment’s health.

They first introduced Multimin in April 2018, and have used it ever since.

Through this challenge, Chris hopes to explain his results with Multimin and FEC management, as well as feed and fertilizer applications.

Chris hopes to show the great outcomes possible with Multimin.
